Steph was brilliant, looking after customers and noticing what they needed. When the firm alarm went off today, it was raining, so she handed out her coats and umbrellas. She made everyone feel understood and comfortable. The food was really good too. My room was brilliant last year, though this year's was a little dated. I understand they're due to be renovated.

I stay here most weeks for business, and the service is why I keep choosing it. The housekeepers do a great job and the rooms are exceptionally clean. There's a good quality food service with a varied menu to suit most people. Staff always greet you with a smile and a welcoming attitude, and nothing is too much trouble. Steph makes sure breakfast service is just right. I'd highly recommend it for business stays in the area.

The hotel service was out of this world. On our second night, we ordered room service, but the dedicated phone line had a poor connection. The staff came to our door to apologise and take the order in person, which was so thoughtful. We’re a family of three and had worried the room might feel cramped, but it was bigger than expected. The sofa bed for our 13 year old was double-sized. The restaurant also serves top quality food. I'd happily recommend a stay here ❤️

The menu changed on my last night, and it needed to, because the food before that had been poor, very poor. Even so, I'd stay again in a heartbeat for Reem, Miguel, Dorcas and Bass. I've been here on and off for more than six months, and they all recognised me and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The staff are wonderful. Dorcas is on reception, Reem is in the bar with Miguel, and Bass is a great ambassador for the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, and if you're an IHG member you can call the staff to request a particular room.

The staff have been a huge help to us during the Whit Friday marches. Steph especially has gone above and beyond for me, and I've seen her do the same for other customers at breakfast. A fantastic team here. I'll definitely be back. Thanks, Steph and team.
