The buses stop right outside, which makes getting into Oxford City easy. We've stayed at Pickwicks twice now, once in early December 2025 and again in January 2026. The staff are helpful and very friendly, the rooms are spotless, and breakfast is delicious. The dining room is nicely decorated too. We'll be back.

We were comfortable, despite the 90s flowery bedspreads and pine furniture vibe. The rooms were spotless, the staff friendly, and breakfast was great. It's a charming little guest house near the University. It's on a busy road close to a major hospital, though, and there were LOTS of sirens through the night, so I'd recommend earplugs.
The grounds are delightful, with a huge apple tree, and breakfast had lots of choice and was delicious. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the room was spotlessly clean. It's a great base for getting into the city centre. I'd definitely recommend staying here and look forward to coming back.
I was staying here while my husband was in John Radcliffe Hospital. The off-street parking was a bonus, and staff were pleasant and polite. My room was clean and comfortable, but there was a strong mould smell, although I couldn't see any mould.
I was visiting my mother at the nearby John Radcliffe hospital, so the location was very convenient. The room was functional and cosy, and the staff were kind. The breakfast service was the friendliest.
