Premier Inn Chipping Norton

The staff made the whole visit such a good experience. They were friendly and helpful, and made it feel like nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.

A decent breakfast in the morning, and no issues with the hotel. It’s a good location, and you know what you’re getting with a usual Premier Inn. I’d happily come back. The EV charger was pretty hopeless, though. It isn’t run by them, but the card reader wouldn’t work and setting up an account with the operator was tedious. That’s not really Premier Inn’s fault.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and there was a good TV plus tea and coffee. Staff were nice, though the okay hot breakfast came with a feeling that someone was watching how much you took. There are lifts to every floor, and ALDI nearby is a lifesaver. Parking costs extra, which adds quite a bit to the stay, and spaces fill quickly. There’s very little disabled parking. None of the rooms have opening windows, so there’s no fresh air, and they’re extremely noisy because of the plumbing, heating, ventilation, and sounds from other rooms. There’s no walk-in shower or heated towel rail, so towels stay wet. You have to ask for cleaning or fresh towels. There also aren’t any fast food places, fish and chip shops, or popular carveries for miles. ALDI helps with that, at least.

The weather hasn’t put a dent in how welcome and comfortable I’ve felt here. I’ve got a safe, peaceful place to come back to at the end of the day, and the hotel has the standards I missed recently at another location with an alleged competitor. Parking, heating, hot water, soap, space, good quality and hot food, it’s all here. Never again, PI all the way after this week, anywhere! I haven’t even finished my first night and already think it’s brilliant. The Reception and Restaurant teams gave me top quality service when I arrived and were so patient with all my questions while I got organised. The location is amazing, tucked just behind the high street. I’m already thinking of using this hotel as a base to explore more of the Cotswolds. Thank you!
