Twin Oaks

The little, unassuming restaurant was the real surprise. I had the sea bass, the dish of the day, and my fiancé chose the vegetarian lasagne. Both were delicious, nicely prepared, and not greasy at all. I also ordered an espresso martini to have in our room. The lovely lady said she’d bring it up in five minutes; it took a bit longer, but she brought us two, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We stayed just one night, and it was a very enjoyable experience. For a three-star hotel, the room conditions were pleasant and comfortable, and the beds were comfortable enough for a great night’s sleep. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

The restaurant was good, and all the staff were pleasant and really nice. It was quiet through the night, too. I spent one night here, and the place is so much better since being modernized. The bed was massive and comfortable, with plenty of pillows. It’s in a great spot close to the M1 and Chesterfield town centre. What’s not to like?

The food was amazing and got lots of compliments. We held a funeral reception at the Twin Oaks recently, and the staff were kind, attentive, and so accommodating while we were going through a difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t have asked for better service, and I highly recommend them.

All the staff were lovely and friendly, and while the rooms are small, they’re tidy and spotless. The beds were extremely comfortable, too. We came for the Valentine’s meal, and all three courses were superb. Those were the best, tastiest steaks I’ve had outside an expensive steak restaurant. I’m 100% coming back for food.
