Premier Inn Manchester - Swinton

I handled payment for two employees from a company I work directly with, and the service at this hotel was extremely poor. Getting in touch is a real struggle: there's no email address, and phone calls take ages to get answered. The reception staff were disappointing as well. They came across as rude and unprofessional, repeatedly saying “hello, hello, hello” as though they couldn't hear, and not letting the other person speak. It was frustrating and disrespectful. They should add an email address to the website and train reception staff to communicate more professionally and respectfully.

The No8 bus stops right outside and runs about every 15 minutes, taking around 20 minutes to reach central Manchester. The rooms were clean and we got a friendly welcome. There weren't any USB charging points in the room, which was a letdown, but staff lent us an adapter.

We arrived late and, with a pub downstairs, were met by a group of drunk lads trying to pressure us into giving them a lift. Keep that in mind if you're getting in late. The price was good for what we got, and the hotel is just outside central Manchester with easy travel into town.

Zoya and the team have been so good about making me comfortable, taking care of me and finding the best room for me. I really appreciate how they go above and beyond. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are very polite. It's also really quiet, with soundproof windows. Thanks, Zoya and the team.
