The restaurant was very good, with a quality steak at a reasonable price. I was there for one night on business and got a very nice welcome from the helpful staff. My room was clean, though, as others have mentioned, it was quite cold, especially the bathroom.

The building feels dated and needs a full renovation, not just new light fittings. Breakfast was so bad I wouldn’t give it to my dog. The bar brought to mind a sticky 1970s pub, and the dining room felt like a school cafeteria.

The continental breakfast was excellent, and there was plenty of parking at the hotel. The accessible room felt a bit cool, and there was no heating in the toilet and shower room.

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were good. Just one small problem: there was no hot water.

A perfect weekend away. The room was dated, but warm and clean, and the staff were really friendly and attentive throughout. Definitely coming back.
