The new all-you-can-eat breakfast was £10.50 per adult, and it was really good. The bacon was what I call proper bacon, not the thin supermarket kind, and the sausages were good too. You could choose how you wanted your eggs. The food was hot, service was very good, and the atmosphere was nice. There were real flowers on the tables as well. Well done, and thanks to Sharon and the team.

Sharon, the business owner, has a disgusting attitude. The way she talks to staff is horrible, just shouting at them. The short blonde girl did an amazing job on the bar, poor thing. She told me this happens regularly and that staff are treated terribly and made to feel bad about their weight and looks. Vile place. I feel bad for the staff. The old owner was a lovely chap and would never have done this.

We went for lunch but didn’t stay overnight. The meals were freshly cooked and tasty, and the staff were nice and attentive. They were in the middle of changing ownership, though, so some menu items weren’t available and the menu itself didn’t match the one online.

The landlord was great, friendly, cheerful, and professional. It’s a nice old building with decent off-street parking, and there are plenty of local pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was decent too.
