The Talbot Hotel

The window frames could use some attention, but that didn't take away from a lovely stay. Our bedroom was warm, comfortable and very clean, and the hotel is well kept. The bar and restaurant service was spot on, with attentive staff and tasty food. Breakfast was a delight too, served with a warm welcome. Check-in was smooth, and Gail showed us to the room, gave us the information we needed, and pointed out the exits to the car park and dog walking area. Everyone was professional and helpful. We had a smashing overnight stay at the Talbot in Oundle. Thank you.

We had an amazing room, with the biggest bathroom we've ever had. Check-in was easy, and the staff member there explained everything and was ready to help. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, and the hotel's location was perfect. We've become big fans of The Coaching Inn collection of hotels and are looking forward to the next one on our list in May.

Oundle is charming, though the weather was appalling, so we'll be coming back to explore the area. The bedroom was attractive and had a range of toiletries. We enjoyed excellent evening and breakfast meals, with varied choices and everything cooked to perfection. The bar was busy and sociable, with lots of comfortable, attractive sofas and chairs, and a very welcoming feel. Staff were efficient and nothing was too much trouble.

The wedding day went perfectly. The food was delicious, the rooms lovely, and breakfast the next morning was great too. Everything ran smoothly and we felt very well cared for. I fell in love with The Talbot Hotel as soon as I saw this beautiful place. The whole wedding was well organised, and whenever I had questions while planning, the team got back to me quickly with helpful answers. I'd recommend The Talbot Hotel 100% to any couple planning a wedding. Thanks again to everyone who helped and looked after us.
