We gave it a go for dinner and were glad we did. Our meals were lovely, and the other plates coming out looked just as good, with generous portions. The staff were polite and helpful.

The Sunday carvery was a highlight. Honestly, the roast beef was probably among the best I've ever eaten. The restaurant gets very busy, so it's sensible to book. Harbour Spring has good, quiet rooms, and there are plenty of other fast food places close by as well as a petrol station. Recommended.

The rooms were clean and warm, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pub food was good, standard fare.

On a whim, we tried the Sunday carvery instead of our usual choice from the main menu. They only had beef and turkey left, which suited me fine, and I had nearly all the vegetables with it. It was really nice. The staff are always lovely, and we enjoyed our visit.

You get what you pay for here. The room and service were fine for the price, with no problems and acceptable standards.
