The tack room worked perfectly for our small, private baby shower lunch. Several guests said it was the best roast they'd ever had, and we couldn't fault either the food or the service. They looked after us attentively in the separate room, and we never had to wait for anything. The service was fantastic from the first enquiry and booking right through to the day itself. Five-star service, thank you.

The mix of history, setting, food, and thoughtful service is what makes this my favourite hotel in Scotland. There are lovely walks right from the door, and Deer Abbey is nearby. The food may be some of the best I've ever had. It's the cosiest, kindest place I've stayed, and I keep recommending it. I love coming back and have never been disappointed. Keep up the great work!

After a lovely walk you can reach on foot from the car park, I relaxed in the snug with a fresh cheese scone and flat white. The toilets were very clean, and the staff were super friendly. Such a chill place. I'll be back.

We booked at the last minute and were greeted so warmly by the staff. Our room in the shooting lodge was absolutely stunning, and we had a gorgeous meal in a relaxed setting with really attentive service. Breakfast by the roaring log burner made everything extra cosy. It's a beautiful, luxurious hotel with loads of charm and fabulous staff. I'd love to stay again and highly recommend it.
