We dropped in around 4pm on a Thursday and were greeted so warmly. The food was freshly cooked, nicely presented, really tasty, and good value. What an unexpected pleasure. We'll certainly come back if we're passing this way again.

From the moment we arrived at the sea view hotel (Boddam), the staff treated us with the utmost respect and took brilliant care of us. We had Cullen skink, then roast chicken, and finished with a selection of sorbet. Nothing was too much trouble. Huge thanks to the staff and chef for the great food and lovely time. We'll definitely be back! 👌🏽

The two young waitresses were so friendly and smiley, and nothing was too much trouble. Our Sunday lunch at the Seaview Hotel was absolutely delicious: roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables, and cauliflower cheese on the side. I'd definitely recommend coming here for Sunday lunch.

We didn't stay, just popped in for a cuppa and a dry spot out of the rain. The staff were friendly, and honestly, the food on the menu looked amazing. We'll try it next time.

The hotel has a pretty nice view, just not from the room I had. My room was small, plain, and a bit outdated. I was disappointed by the food too. I ordered the seafood mac and cheese, but misread the name as Tesco-style “sea-view mac and cheese”. It was overpriced and came with cheap fries. Maybe other orders are better, but my meal felt like nothing more than a Tesco set menu.
