The room was clean, breakfast was good, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. This is a nice, clean, modern place, so I don't know what the other reviewer meant by comparing it to a 50's motel. The letdown for us was dinner, which wasn't up to the usual standard. My wife wanted fish and chips, but it wasn't available, so she ordered lasagne. It was sloppy and tasted odd. I had a burger that was overdone for me, dry, and hard work to eat. We were hungry, so we finished the meal, but after many stays with this hotel group, the food here was disappointing.

The shower was a highlight, with strong pressure, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and a good place to unwind after a busy day. I found the bed cozy too. Everything I wanted to see was only a short walk away, which made exploring convenient. The staff were warm and welcoming every time, polite and attentive from the moment I arrived. I'd happily come back.

The hand soap in the gents smelled really pleasant. I only came in for breakfast, which was adequate. The rotating toaster seemed to give up on sending the toast down its slide, leaving it hidden at the back. The hotel itself felt incredibly run down, like a 1950s roadside motel past its best.

Breakfast is part of the price, and it's very good, with bean-to-cup coffee and great value. The rooms were clean, with crisp bedding and a spotless bathroom stocked with quality soap and shampoo. We received a warm welcome from friendly staff who were focused on helping. Quality accommodation at a very reasonable price.
