Breakfast was a highlight, made to order from a menu rather than being a typical continental breakfast, with fantastic options to choose from. A particularly thoughtful touch was a sign on a large table welcoming our group for breakfast the next morning. The Skye Inn comfortably accommodated our group of nine, and we slept peacefully and quietly for several nights. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and well lit. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure we had an exceptional experience. They handled multiple roles around the hotel seamlessly and made us feel genuinely cared for. We’d highly recommend the Skye Inn and happily stay there again.

The room was small but had plenty of storage, and the beds were comfortable. The sheets were rather rough, though, and repairs are needed: the curtains and mirror were broken, and the toilet was very difficult to flush. We had two days here and it was ok. Inside, the place is more attractive than the outside, and they’ve put effort into decorating. There are even books to borrow! The food was very good, and assigning us a table was a nice touch. We would come back.

Finding the hotel took a bit of care, as it’s somewhat hidden and easy to turn into the wrong driveway, so pay attention to your GPS. Once there, the Skye Inn was beautiful, with spacious, new rooms and plenty of power sockets!! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and took good care of you.

The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The room had all the conveniences and was comfy, and the staff were friendly and thoughtful. The Inn is a short walk into Portree. Thank you for a very nice stay! Cheers!

Everything was cosy and clean, and all the staff were extremely helpful. It’s in a really good location within walking distance of town. The dining room stroke bar has a beautiful fire place and some very comfortable settees. Special thanks to the Manager, who went above and beyond and kindly posted the fridge magnets we’d mistakenly left behind.
