We found the twin room cosy and practical, with comfortable medium-firm beds, plenty of luggage space, lots of coat hangers, a heated towel rail, and sockets tucked behind the bedside table. The modern decor still felt homely. There’s also a lounge near the dining room and electric car charging for two vehicles, though you need the app and to add funds first. Breakfast was a real highlight. The eggs were rich and full of flavour, and the sausages, bacon and mushrooms were all spot on. The gluten-free sourdough was great too, and they cater for coeliacs. Portrush is easy to explore from here: it’s about a six-minute walk to Royal Legion Pub and ten minutes to The Station Bar, Main St, Town Hall and Barry’s. A lovely place, and booking through the website may get you a better deal.

We arrived later than planned after a one-night stay, and Karen greeted us so warmly when we got in. The next morning she made us a delicious breakfast to order with coffee and tea, and shared a helpful tip about parking and visiting the Giants Causeway. The hotel had messaged us clear instructions for getting inside at night. We’d happily recommend the place.

The hostess was so kind and really accommodating at breakfast, and the place was clean and very pleasant. I only wish we’d stayed longer. The shower was recently redone and had a high-tech box with a power button, but it was a bit cramped, and there was nowhere to put anything. Parking seemed to have just enough spaces for the rooms. I’d love to return.

Good value for the price, with off-street parking. The place was very clean and comfortable.

My partner booked this as a Mother’s Day gift, and I came away more impressed than I expected. The host was brilliant, with useful tips on where to go and eat, and made a fantastic cooked breakfast. The rooms are a good size, with a little kettle for tea or coffee and a TV, and the beds are really comfortable. It made the stay memorable, and we’ll definitely be back.
