Dunluce Lodge

The four-course meal was delicious from start to finish, and the service was just as good. We had a brilliant Burns Night celebration at Dunluce Lodge. The hotel’s look and feel and its location were all perfect. Easily the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, 10000000% recommend!

We stayed to celebrate our engagement, and it was a perfect treat for the occasion. The service was fantastic throughout. I also heard the restaurant is now open to the public for bookings, which is a welcome addition to the North Coast dining scene.

Dinner was a real highlight, with every course full of flavour, carefully prepared and presented. The staff were attentive and professional without hovering. We also loved the immaculate, thoughtfully designed accommodation, the gorgeous views and how comfortable everything felt. From arrival, the hospitality was warm and genuine, and the whole place had a relaxing atmosphere. Dunluce Lodge is a gem for a peaceful break, a great meal or lovely service. Can’t recommend it enough, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!

The staff made travelling alone feel easy. I trusted that they genuinely cared about me having a good stay, and I don’t take all those little touches for granted. I’m grateful for them and think it’s important to acknowledge them. I loved the path down to the beach and the location. At the spa, everything felt personal and relaxed, and the staff took real care with my wellbeing. There was tea before the treatment, a warm towel, and snacks and a drink afterwards. The receptionist was very personable, and Britney gave me what I reckon was the best massage I’ve ever had. I’d been upgraded to a room with a bath, which I really enjoyed. It was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the temperature right. The room was thoughtfully set up with what I needed, and the extras felt generous, including chocolates, a minibar and a welcome drink. Everyone I met was welcoming and friendly, from the manager who greeted me to the other manager who checked me out. Pierce at the bar was great to chat with, which I appreciated while on my own. Breakfast staff were considerate too, and one of the men offered me a poached egg just as I was about to ask. A huge thank you. I’d certainly recommend staying with thetr.
