Golflinks Hotel

We only stayed one night, but woke up feeling like new people. It was a delight, and the best hotel we’ve stayed at in the UK. The staff were all friendly and courteous, and our room had a phenomenal view over the golf course. Friday’s grill night is £25 for steak or chicken, sauce, a side and a drink. I had one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten anywhere, and even the onions on top were cooked perfectly. Breakfast and dinner both tasted so good. The walk into town and to the beach is lovely, and just long enough to build an appetite. Please pass our thanks on to the staff and management.

We were visiting our son and his family and stayed at the golflinks hotel. The staff were great, from reception through to the dining team, and the meal service was excellent. The food was delicious, and one night the meals were half price. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it to others.

I’ve brought my 👰‍♀️ over from Scotland many times over the years, and I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The last time we were here, it was the Atlantis, but you can’t go wrong with the Golf links hotel or Portrush, full stop. So many good memories 👌

We had dinner as a family group of six. The service was friendly and attentive without getting in the way. Some mains, like the hake, need side orders. The seasonal vegetables were tasty and cooked nicely, and the desserts were delicious and large enough that sharing might make sense. We stuck to aperitifs, beer and soft drinks, so didn’t try the wine, though the list had a good range. The music was quiet enough to talk easily, and parking was good. We’d come back when we’re on the north coast.
