Adamton Country House Hotel

The hotel and its grounds are so huge that we had room for a full game of Twister without bumping into anyone or anything. There’s plenty of space to relax, spread out, and get a little chaotic if you feel like it. Great atmosphere and good food, too. And the tattie scones at breakfast! Crispy and fluffy, and so easy to eat about six before you realise. Some of the best I’ve had. Loved our stay at Adamton Country House Hotel and would absolutely come back.

There were loads of comfortable places to sit around the massive hotel, whether you wanted to watch football on the big screen, have a quiet drink, or sing and dance in the concert room. There was also a pool table and a couple of arcade machines. The corridors leading to the bar, dining area, and entertainment room had a quirky, traditional look, and the hotel already had a Christmassy feel. We stayed overnight on a coach trip and really enjoyed it. The countryside view from our window was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Robert at reception was especially chatty and helpful. Our cosy, clean room had a comfortable bed, hairdryer, tea and coffee, TV, shower, and toiletries. There was a good choice of self-service meals, the food was nice, and the dining area was accessible and nicely decorated. This place deserves more credit, and I’d definitely stay again.

The setting was a real highlight for our short stay: peaceful countryside surroundings, scenic views, and a calm atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Nearby attractions are also conveniently close, so it could work well as a base for exploring the region. We found the staff friendly and attentive throughout, always willing to help without hovering. Our room was clean, cosy, and had what we needed; the soft, inviting bed made it especially easy to unwind. The elegant décor adds to the hotel's countryside charm. We spent one night at Adamtom Country House Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. We’d be happy to recommend it for a comfortable country getaway and would love to return for longer.

The rooms were clean and nice, and there was plenty of space to relax. Breakfast was great, the WiFi was free, and it was easy to get to. The host and front-of-house staff were lovely. I stayed overnight and would come again.
