The Litton

The burger was one of the best I’ve had, and the venison special was very good too. The food is locally sourced and tasted great. We had a nice location, plus a car park with a decent number of spaces. Service was a little delayed, but it was a fully booked Saturday lunchtime, so book ahead. I’d like to visit in summer and see the outdoor areas and views.

We stayed overnight. The room was spotless and well appointed, and there was a superb choice at breakfast. The food was delicious, and the staff were extremely pleasant, polite, and helpful. It’s an excellent pub with rooms. I’d definitely recommend The Litton and will stay here again. Thanks to the team.

The bar has a really good range of local drinks. Since I’m not local, I enjoy trying something I can’t get at home. We chose from the Winter menu, and the food was very good as always and reasonably priced. The restaurant was busy on the Friday before Christmas, with two large parties dining at the same time, but the staff worked incredibly hard to keep the evening running smoothly. Everyone we spoke to was friendly, professional, and happy to answer questions. My girlfriend and I both slept well in a very comfortable, clean room, just as on previous visits. Check-in was easy, and the staff greeted us warmly, showed us to the room, and asked if we needed anything else. Breakfast was delicious as always, with excellent service. There’s ample parking, though the car park can fill quickly in summer, so be prepared to park on the road outside The Litton at busy times. My sister and brother-in-law live nearby, so we often stay at The Litton when visiting them. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Somerset area.

The cocktails were great, and the food was delicious. I had the burger and the porchetta, and would recommend both. From check-in, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we felt very welcome.
