The food was next level. I've rarely been able to give a meal top marks twice, let alone three times, and I'll return to this peaceful, beautifully appointed sanctuary. I arrived in a panic without booking, but Mark the owner managed to fit me in at short notice, in a tastefully decorated room full of gorgeous features. The drive up to this grand former family home is spectacular in itself. A friendly, eloquent gentleman greeted me on the steps and was so understanding about how flustered I was. The whole place feels like a beautiful, tranquil retreat that's clearly cared for and loved by the family who run it. Everyone on staff was charming, polite and unbelievably friendly. What a treat. The staff were outstanding, bringing warmth, professionalism and hard work to our celebration. We recently held a family wedding at The Mill House and couldn't have been happier. The house had a relaxed feel that set the tone for the weekend, and the bedrooms were comfortable and roomy enough to make everyone feel at home. We spent lovely time together in the peaceful country garden, which was very well kept and made a stunning backdrop. The marquee was spacious, with lots of room for eating and dancing. Many thanks to the whole team for an unforgettable weekend. We'd wholeheartedly recommend the venue for weddings, family gatherings or corporate events.

The package was competitively priced, the food was outstanding, and the team gave us the flexibility to shape the day around what suited us. My now-wife and I got married at the Mill House in October 2025. We didn't have to worry about a thing, and the day was absolutely faultless, a real credit to all the amazing staff there. If you're thinking of getting married, definitely consider the Mill House!

We chose the Mill House for a small, select wedding yesterday, and can't praise the team enough. They were helpful from the very first phone call, listened to what we wanted, and helped us plan a fun, relaxed day. Our guests all thought the venue was lovely, and we were lucky with the weather, so could enjoy the gardens. There were loads of comments about how fabulous the food was. We had a shedload of food intolerances to manage, including gluten free, dairy free and vegan, but the team handled them without any drama. We don't plan on getting married again, but if you are, this place is second to none!

The car park was flooded when we went to a small party, and my decent shoes got wet and muddy. Once inside, though, it was warm and friendly, and the snacks were very good.
