Reigate Manor

Katie and the events team were a huge help while we planned the Reigate Catenians’ annual Treasurer's Night, and all their attention to detail made things run smoothly. On the night, Mohammad and his team had the room ready for the meeting, then rearranged it for dinner for all 75 of us. We had a delicious two-course meal, and thanks to their hard work the evening even finished ahead of schedule. A wonderful experience for everyone, and a big thank you to the whole team.

We’d love to come back and try one of the hotel’s monthly music and entertainment packages. They sound worth exploring, and this first visit left us with lovely memories. It’s a friendly, traditional place, with a welcoming feel that isn’t over the top. The room was spacious and spotless, with a lovely bathroom and a powerful, cleverly designed shower. We both loved the four-poster bed. Breakfast was a very enjoyable mix of continental options and a hot English breakfast, and the extra black pudding was much appreciated. We all enjoyed the Sunday roast with my husband and family. The three meats were cooked just right and served in generous, thick slices, which I much prefer to thin ones. The roast potatoes were crispy, full of flavour and cooked in proper fat, possibly among the best I’ve had. The homemade stuffing, parsnips, cauliflower cheese and well-seasoned gravy were lovely too. The green vegetables and Yorkshire puddings were overcooked and disappointing, though. Starters and desserts went down well with everyone. My sticky toffee pudding was very dry and unappealing at first, but once I covered it in double cream, it was delicious.

The petrol station outside and roadworks at the junction made getting around a bit difficult. No Ubers would pick us up until the next day. Inside, the room was tidy and the bed was large and comfortable. It looked more spacious in the photos, but it did the job. The receptionists were really kind and helpful, honestly fab.

We’ve stayed here in 2023 and 2025, and had the same family room, 403, both times. It has a large double bed and bunk beds, and the beds are comfortably the best part of this good value hotel. Breakfast was the only meal we tried. The buffet was good and complete, with easily the best scrambled eggs. Staff are very helpful, and the bar area is beautiful. Nearby restaurants are an option, or you can eat at the hotel. This time, paying with our foreign Maestro bank cards caused some trouble, so we had to withdraw cash from an ATM to finish the payment. It’s a very good stopover for us. Highly recommended, and we’ll return.
