Premier Inn Rhuddlan

For about £52 a night for a twin room, it was alright value, and I’d consider coming back, though I’d check other places too. The location is great, but the rooms feel more dated than other Premier Inns. Lighting was dim, and there was just one plug by the bed with no USB charging. Data coverage around there wasn’t great, and the free WiFi was slow. Even the premium WiFi only reached around 20Mbps.

There’s an Aldi and Starbucks right next door, and an hourly bus nearby to Prestatyn and Rhyl. The hotel itself was nice and clean. The restaurant next to it wasn’t up to much, and breakfast wasn’t a cooked buffet. You have to tell the staff what you want and how many, which felt a bit awkward. I’ve stayed here before and would come back.

The adjacent restaurant serves freshly cooked meals at very reasonable prices. Rooms were clean, and the cleaners were pleasant and friendly. I loved my stay, especially thanks to the very good staff, particularly Nia, who made it even better. Prices ranged from £65 to £85 per night depending on the day, so book online for the best price.

The front desk was friendly and efficient, and there were plenty of tea bags available. For nearby options, there’s a Table Table for breakfast, an Aldi for food to take along, and a KFC for something quick. The bus stop also has a decent local link.
