I was left waiting at breakfast while an unbooked family of six, who weren't even staying at the hotel, got a table and were served. I eventually got a table after five minutes and was told to help myself to coffee. After 20 minutes and two coffees, I left. I'd asked my company not to use this place again. I was there on business. My ground-floor room was clean and in good decorative order, and the receptionist was polite and friendly. But at about 20.20, I was told I couldn't order food after 20.00 because they were busy, even though the website says 21.00, so I went out to eat. There was also a lot of noise in the early hours, banging, hammering and furniture moving. You have to go through the Beefeater pub and restaurant, which is part of the hotel, or walk around the back from the car park. I'd booked breakfast for 09.30 after being told it was served between 08.00 and 11.00. I had asked for 08.00 but was told it had to be 10.30, and I disagreed until they gave me 09.30.

Sarah at reception was a big help and couldn't have been more attentive. I had to find somewhere to stay because my flat flooded, and this is by far the best Premier Inn I've stayed at. They should be proud to have someone like her at the front desk.

The WiFi was very poor and kept cutting out, so have plenty of mobile data if you need to use your phone as a hotspot. The rooms were noisy too. At check-in, nobody asked for my car registration, so it wasn't registered at first. The car had been parked for an hour by the time I asked about it. Reception then told me a parking fine would be arriving in the post very soon. I asked if they could stop it since the mistake was quickly corrected, or call Horizon parking, who would send the fine. They said no to both, and told me to send all the details to the PI parent company Whitbread after the fine arrived. Who knows if they could stop it in time? It ruined the start of our stay.

Bianca and Juliana at Reception were really nice and good at their jobs. The hotel was clean, and I got a lovely night's sleep. No complaints from me, many thanks, Mr Levy.

We were a party of 23 staying the night for my son's birthday, and I was nervous after reading the earlier reviews. In the end it was fine. Some of us were in a separate building, and that was okay. There was a lot of refurbishment happening in the main building, but our group who stayed there had no problems either. It was clean and quiet, with no smells. The internet was down when we arrived, so we couldn't check in online. The staff managed it on their phones, and could see we were wet and cold after doing it's a knockout and needed to change and shower.
