We’re staying at Stravaigin Lodges with our family of four, including our 11- and 14-year-old children. Some of our family are in two other lodges, which has made it a lovely group trip. The setting is peaceful and tranquil, a great escape from busy city life. Puck’s Glen is right on the doorstep, and Benmore Botanical Gardens is a short walk away. The lodge has a cosy feel, especially with the log burner. It was spotless, check-in was quick and easy, and the hosts we met were so welcoming and friendly. We couldn’t be happier and can’t recommend Stravaigin Lodges enough for a quiet break in nature.

Neil, Dana and their three beautiful huskies were around and kindly shared tips on local walks and places to visit. We loved our summer stay at Stravaigin Lodge. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There was also a TV, wifi and board games. Our family of four stayed for a long weekend, though we could easily have spent longer there.

We spent a lovely 10 days at Stravaigin Lodge and would happily recommend it. Neil and Dana, the new owners, went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The cosy cabin sits in a beautiful, peaceful spot at the bottom of Pucks Glen. It’s one of Scotland’s most serene places, almost otherworldly. We’re looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Neil and Dana. 😊

The lodge has everything you need, and it sits on a fantastic plot beside pucks glen. Walking around the glen is well worth it, it’s stunning and magical. I even had a robin red breast land on my hand and eat from it. The only issue was keeping the lodge warm with its storage heaters.
