We’re back home after another three-night stay, and will most definitely be back again. The rooms were lovely, with amazing views and comfortable beds, and the food was delicious throughout. The staff are all so friendly and efficient, making you feel welcome and doing everything they can to give you a great stay. Many thanks to Sally, Matt and their team for a wonderful Easter weekend. We had an amazing Sunday roast today. The staff were helpful and attentive without being in our faces, and made our daughter’s birthday meal extra special by coming out to sing happy birthday to her. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely be back.

We had a fantastic lunch at The Royal Hotel in Ross on Wye. The set lunch menu was great value and the food was wonderful. Carol gave excellent service, was friendly and attentive, and even took group photos for us. Nothing was too much trouble.

The hotel was decorated for Christmas and busy, but all the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food and drink were good. We enjoyed our one-night stay, especially the great breakfast. One small thing: the smoking area was right outside the door and wall near where we were sitting. We could smell cigarette smoke, and someone briefly sat on the step by the large window at our table, number 24.
