We spent Saturday night 17th January here, and the room was so spacious that, even though we’d paid for a standard double, it felt more like a suite, with chairs as well. The pool, sauna and steam room were relaxing, well kept and up to a high standard. I also had a wax on Sunday morning when we checked out, and the pampering service was so good and relaxing I nearly fell asleep. After a stressful few months personally, it was just the weekend I needed. My partner was very kind to spoil me. The restaurant and its staff deserve a special mention. Everyone was friendly, patient and kind, and made us feel like the only guests there. I asked if I could have a burger and chips instead of ordering from the A La Carte menu, and felt bad asking, but the chef kindly made me a bacon cheeseburger. It was the best burger I’ve ever had, with tender meat and chips unlike any I’ve tried. I was told the chef makes them from scratch, and I can vouch for that. The A La Carte starters were innovative and so high standard, better than some top London restaurants I’ve tried, master chef level. My partner was blown away by his gnocchi. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you stay here and skip the restaurant, you’ll be missing out. Sorry I can’t name the people who served us. I lose everything and lost the receipt with the server’s name. I hope you can find whoever was on duty serving room 108 that night and show them, and the chef, this review.

The new wellness suite is beautifully designed and so relaxing, and we had wonderful massages there. We finished our pre Christmas day out at The Spa Hotel with afternoon tea in the Orangery. It was delicious, with plenty of choice for my gluten free and vegetarian diet. It was exactly the restorative day we both needed, and such a lovely festive treat. We’ll definitely be back soon. 🤍

The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and I woke up with a sore back. That was the only disappointment in a really enjoyable two night stay. It’s a beautiful hotel, about a 20 minute walk from town, and we enjoyed Christmas shopping and relaxing. The food was delicious. Kiera at breakfast gave five star service with a smile, and she’s a lovely person and an asset to the hotel. The spa was clean, and all the staff there were polite and welcoming. Carla, the therapist who gave my husband and me neck, back and shoulder massages, was exceptional. I’d highly recommend a treatment with her.

Afternoon tea in the Orangery was a lovely way to end the day. I visited The Spa Hotel for the new wellness suite and a facial, and it was perfect from start to finish. The spotless facilities are beautifully designed, and the welcoming team had me feeling relaxed as soon as I arrived. I tried the gym and pool as well as the suite, making it a full restorative day. I’ll be back soon with my mum to do it all again!

The standout for me was the staff. Everyone I met was friendly, helpful and exemplary, and it felt like the team took real pride in making the stay work smoothly for all the attendees. My room was modern, spacious, spotless and a peaceful place to relax after long meetings. I came to The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells for a demanding two day professional conference. The conference facilities were clean, well maintained and suited our needs very well. It’s a beautiful, welcoming setting that would also work for private or social gatherings. All the facilities and accommodation were top notch. A brilliant choice for a personal stay or a major event, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
