The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient for a budget hotel. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the room was okay, though the TV was small, sounded poor, and had a hard-to-find guide. There was a crack in the bathroom sink and its plug didn't hold water. There's a lot of construction happening in front of the hotel at the moment. Parking is free, but remember to register your number plate at reception.

The staff were great, but the hotel itself was poor. My room was clean, though a bit tired, and the water pressure was so low that filling the basin took ages. The food was okay but basic. There was no draught beer, only expensive bottles, because they hadn't had a delivery all week.

The room was quite spacious and really comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff were, and the large, open reception gave me the feeling someone would be available at any hour. Top marks.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the room was lovely and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had the best night's sleep in a very long time. I'd definitely stay again!

We found this a very convenient place to stay, with nearby rooms provided as requested. My mother-in-law had an accessible room with a spacious, practical wet room. Breakfast starting at 7am suited us too. The rooms were nicely decorated, the shower was great, the bed very comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. It's functional, very clean, and has the amenities you need without unnecessary pampering. It may not offer high-end luxury, but it's a very nice budget hotel and ideal for a few nights' stopover.
