More than 40 of us had a three-course meal here after the venue we’d originally booked let us down at the last minute. The hotel made the food we’d chosen with the other place, which was amazing. Some of us stayed overnight too, and the rooms were clean and pleasant. Breakfast had lots of choice and was lovely. The staff were friendly, caring and helpful throughout. Thank you so much to everyone.

Our large third-floor room looked out over the seafront and the hoverport, which was interesting. Next door is Harry's Bar, also part of the hotel, a cosy little spot for a drink and a sociable game of Scrabble or dominoes. We spent five days here over Christmas and had a lovely, sociable time chatting with other guests. The food was lovely, and the hardworking staff made the holiday, especially Siobhan. They were a fantastic team. We’d also stayed for a short break in September and hope to be back soon.

The team all worked together to make our four-night Christmas package a fantastic trip. Mike, the owner, was there helping out and chatting with people, which was really nice. Hannah deserves a big thank you for sorting out my wife's food allergies. We’ve stayed at the Royal Esplanade lots of times before, and they have the same staff. We couldn’t fault this stay. Best Christmas ever, 11 out of 10, and we’ll be back soon. Many thanks again, from Chris and Viv Green.

A leak in the corridor meant we had to step over a bucket, and the bathroom fan was so loud it needs attention. Even so, we had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with the usual things like robes, tea, coffee and shower gel. Ours was a triple room with a sea view, where you could hear and see the hover craft. We were there for an event over the weekend, just across the bridge from the Hovecraft. Check-in was well organised and the reception area and rooms felt inviting. Breakfast and dinner were included. The food sometimes arrived warm, but they were serving a full house and offered to change it if needed. Everyone was lovely and friendly.

I was here for work and would highly recommend staying. The reception staff were excellent whoever was there to greet you. Jemma Jo and Drew were great in the bar, and Drew was also Mr Night along with the others.
