Brockley Hall Hotel

On this second visit we had the Saltburn Room, beautifully finished and just as welcoming as the two other rooms we’ve tried. The décor throughout is lovely and clearly done to a high standard. Andy deserves a special mention. He always seemed to turn up right when we needed something, with a smile and outstanding service. The restaurant, kitchen and bar staff were all just as helpful, nothing felt like too much trouble. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. We had a really relaxing stay and were looked after so well. Brockley Hall Hotel is a gem in a lovely spot, and we’ll definitely return. We’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere warm and friendly.

We took our grandchildren, aged 8 and 6, for afternoon tea on Saturday 21st February. The boys loved their chicken and fries, then sandwiches, jelly and cake. We had the traditional afternoon tea and it was delicious. There were lots of treats left to take home for later, too. Everyone had a wonderful time, and the staff were very friendly. We’d recommend it.

The food was so good that I couldn’t even finish dessert, and that says a lot for me. The 80’s Christmas disco at Brockley Hall was a fantastic night, with great entertainment from a female singer doing all our favourite 80’s tracks. It wasn’t too crowded, either. We really enjoyed the whole evening and will book again for next Christmas. If there are still spaces this year, you won’t be disappointed.

We booked at the last minute and ended up with a lovely attic room. It was spotless, with a very comfortable king size bed, and Tuesday was so helpful. All the staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. The breakfast and evening meal were delicious, and the hotel is in a prime spot for public transport. Loved the Halloween decorations.
