The breakfast alone made this place stand out. There are plenty of options beyond a full breakfast, including avocado on toast, Cumberland ring and croissant, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into it. The bread was nicely done, not over-fried, and the owners checked in a few times without hovering. It was well worth the £10 over breakfast at a local pub or restaurant. Our room had a brand new, upscale bathroom, its own radiator heating control and a fan. The hotel was snug and quiet, with no noise from other rooms or outside our door. There’s ample parking, and it’s well placed for walks into town and restaurants, about 8 minutes from the main high street using a shortcut. The owners were caring and seemed to read the room well. The photos are lovely, but don’t quite capture how beautiful this boutique hotel is, or its warm, modern feel. We’ll definitely return.

I've stayed here before and will always come back when I'm in Scarborough. The hosts are so welcoming, the rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and the location is great. A fantastic place to stay.

Breakfast was really nice, and the service was spot on. We only stayed one night, though I would have happily stayed longer. The room was lovely, clean and well presented. I'll be back.

This was our second visit, and it’s become our favourite place to stay nearby. The owners gave us a warm welcome, and the room was fantastic, heated well, clean and tidy, and stocked with snacks and drinks. The bed was comfortable too. There’s a parking space right outside. I couldn't have asked for more.
