Tender meat, fresh vegetables, crisp roast potatoes with fluffy insides, homemade Yorkshires, and the best gravy. A beautiful Sunday lunch carvery, all home cooked. I'd highly recommend a visit.

The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help, and the food was all freshly cooked. The Yorkshire puddings were large and really fluffy inside. It was my first carvery, after my son recommended it, and it definitely didn't disappoint. I'll be going back. Worth every penny.

Book your table! We were lucky they squeezed us in early, at 12 when they opened. The Sunday carvery was flipping lush, with excellent service. It was dog friendly too, and they have dog-friendly rooms as well, so we'll definitely come back and stay. The gravy was divine. I wish they sold it to take away. The staff were absolutely lovely, and this was probably the best Sunday carvery I've ever had. If I could give it ten stars, I would.

I can't comment on the rooms since we didn't stay here, but the Sunday lunch is by far the best carvery we've ever had. I'd most certainly recommend it, and it'll definitely be our go-to place when we're in Scarborough.

I stopped in for a quick drink at 9 pm on a Wednesday and ended up there on my own. They had Timothy Taylor's beer, though, and I couldn't pass that up. It was a very good pint at a good price, with European football on the TV. Great!
