The pizza and loaded fries were enormous, and we left absolutely stuffed. Great value drinks and fantastic food, too. It has the feel of a modern local pub, with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Many thanks.

Just stayed one night while visiting my Mum nearby. The room, food and atmosphere were all lovely, and the staff were just as nice. My dog enjoyed meeting everyone. I’d definitely recommend it 🙂

17/01/2026 After a long day, this was just the place we needed. The bar is great, the traditional pub food was nice, and everything felt fresh and clean. The lady who served us was fantastic. Thank you, Lion & Lamb.

The welcome was lovely from the moment we arrived, and it’s a real plus that dogs are allowed. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted brilliant. The menu feels well thought out, with reasonable prices for the quality. Great food, friendly service and good value. We’ll definitely come back with the dog.

We had a family gathering of 18, including children and dogs, and sat outside, which worked perfectly for us. Since we were such a large group, we pre-ordered. The friendly, helpful staff brought everything out promptly and piping hot. Everyone said their meal was perfect and very tasty. The Lion and Lamb is modern inside and has plenty of dining areas.
