Coming in from the rain, the place felt cosy and comfortable. We stayed overnight and really enjoyed it. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, the bathroom very clean, and there were thoughtful touches like homemade biscuits with the tea making facilities. Breakfast had an excellent choice and everything was well cooked. It felt like a well managed hotel.

We celebrated my wife's 70th birthday with our daughter and her partner at the fluer de lys, and the whole team made the evening and stay extra special. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and wine, and were very well looked after. The restaurant food was absolutely superb, as were the service and attention. We stayed overnight, and the accommodation was first class, spotless and well maintained. Breakfast was equally good. Many thanks to everyone. I'd happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a very pleasurable experience.

We haven't stayed here, only eaten in the restaurant. It's a brilliant French restaurant, with quality dining, a top notch menu and ingredients, and fabulous traditional, old fashioned service. I'd highly recommend it.

I had a lovely stay at La Fleur De Lys on Saturday and really enjoyed the meal. It was first rate. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Right in the centre of Shaftesbury, this attractive little hotel has excellent staff, good off street parking for residents, and a very clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent too, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Can't wait to find an excuse to visit again.
