The spa treatments were better than I expected, and we really enjoyed the facilities, including a lovely hour-long massage, hot tub, pool, steam room, gym and good changing rooms. The wood sauna was sadly shut, though. Our three-course dinner was lovely, and when we mentioned it was our anniversary, they brought each of us an extra little brownie with writing on the plate. The cocktails were delicious too. My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and even let us check in early when we asked. The building and interior décor were beautiful. I didn’t have any real complaints. I was a little confused because the package break was advertised with dinner included but there was no price difference. I think I misread that, and the meal was worth the cost anyway. The shower was set up so water ran onto the bathroom floor, but it was easy to clean up. It made for a lovely break.

The freshly renovated venue has so many lovely spaces and beautiful décor. I especially liked the bridal suite and the den with its pool table, which would suit the groomsmen. It feels grand but welcoming, and the staff were professional. Wedding Day Dance UK gives Burnham Beeches Hotel a full 5* endorsement, and anyone planning a wedding should visit. Last week I went to a wedding supplier networking event there, organised by Guides For Brides. We were warmly welcomed. The hotel felt fresh, clean and stylish, and we had a lovely selection of teas, coffee and cake. The presentation room was beautifully set up with comfortable seats, still and sparkling water, and tech that all worked. We also got a tour and I loved it. The grounds had amazing views.

The room was compact but clean, tidy and well equipped. Our bed had petals on it and towels arranged as swans. It may have been for my birthday, or perhaps they do that for every guest. We arrived a few hours early and that was no problem. Ali the Manager greeted us like old customers, with a warm smile that was infectious. He checked us in, assigned a room and explained the hotel and spa facilities. After a day in Windsor, I had a massage that was a joy and very relaxing. We finished the evening with dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food and service were amazing, as they had been throughout our stay. Thanks to all the staff, we’ll return.

We won’t book here again. My partner chose a weekend break because the hotel said it was dog friendly. After he booked, the hotel called him multiple times to ask about my service dog. Then, on the day, they called to say dogs had a weight limit and we couldn’t stay. That limit isn’t mentioned on their website, and I found the staff’s communication quite rude. For anyone booking with a dog, I’d suggest the nearby Taplow instead. They were accommodating and welcomed my dog with treats and belly rubs!

The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were disappointing. The pool was a little cold, the sauna’s wooden panels were uneven, and the jacuzzi was out of order. Many lockers had no keys, so we spent time worrying about our belongings. Since jacuzzi use was advertised as part of our Enchanted Spa Break, its being unavailable was a letdown. The beauty treatments themselves were very good, but my husband’s facial on Monday 5th January came with a service mix-up. I’d booked him a welcome smoothie, but the spa staff member seemed unaware of it and wasn’t helpful about sorting it out, telling me to go downstairs and ask. I don’t think arranging this should have been my responsibility. Main reception kindly got the smoothie for us, but the process wasn’t smooth and shouldn’t have had to escalate. I raised my concerns and asked for a partial refund in a message to management on 06/01/2026. After a month of chasing, the Manager offered a complimentary spa day. Since my complaint was about the spa, I found that response an absolute joke, and it was clear they hadn’t taken in my concerns. 🤣🤣🤣 Honestly, avoid it and pay extra for a smoother experience elsewhere.
