Premier Inn Slough West - Slough Trading Estate

The staff were friendly and efficient, and there’s a Greggs nearby where you can pick up lunch for Legoland much more cheaply than buying it at the park. We stayed here for a Legoland visit, about a 15 minute drive away. Our room was quiet and clean, with adjustable air conditioning, a large TV, and a powerful shower with plenty of hot water. We got the Meal Deal for £54, which covered a two course dinner with a drink and breakfast the next morning. The food was better than expected and felt like decent value. The kids had a two course meal for £6 extra, with their breakfast included. Hot chocolate was the one thing missing at breakfast. No complaints, and I’d stay again.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times with the children, mainly because it’s so handy for Legoland, about 15 minutes away by car. It’s also well placed for the motorways and airports, and Windsor is close by. There’s a Greggs and papa johns right next door. Parking opposite is free and very convenient. The breakfast is nice and the restaurant and bar are clean and perfectly adequate, but breakfast feels like a free for all. Don’t reserve a table, they won’t hold it. Check-in was poor: the man only gave me the room number and no details about breakfast, meals, or parking. We knew some of that from a previous visit. The rooms were scorching, so I had to ask for a fan. Service at check-in was non-existent, and the heat made the room unbearable.

The receptionist was a real bright spot. I can’t remember her name, but she was incredibly kind and welcoming. My room was quiet, very clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning I could set to the temperature I wanted. The large TV and powerful shower with reliably hot water were good too. I had a very pleasant stay at the Premier Inn and would highly recommend it.

For a very reasonable price, the room was clean and well kept, with no outside noise and excellent blinds. The bed was comfortable enough, and the staff were friendly. But testing the fire alarms at 6am completely ruined the experience and disturbed my sleep. I can’t see how that’s an acceptable time for an alarm test.
