Craig, the Bar Manager, was very accommodating when our group unexpectedly grew from around 30-40 people to 60-70. I’d arranged for ice hockey friends to meet in the Village Hotel, Shirley bar for the Winter Olympics gold medal game between the USA and Canada. It turned into a great day, and everyone enjoyed the venue and experience. The food was outstanding, and Craig was flexible about seating and bar space. We’re considering a winter ball for the same group and will speak with the sales team to work out the numbers. Thanks to Craig and the team for a job really well done.

The rooms are modern and cosy, with a really comfortable bed and a lovely shower. There’s plenty of equipment too, including an iron, kettle and lots of hangers. The bar and breakfast staff were welcoming and friendly, and the service was amazing. Reception were also very helpful, especially after an initial misunderstanding with my booking. A lovely hotel with great value and staff who clearly know their jobs.

Gemma and the Reception team made our family stay comfortable and enjoyable. They were helpful and accommodating, and the kids got some lovely treats, a really nice touch. In the Pub & Grill, Craig was so welcoming, and Alison and the team gave brilliant, quick and friendly service. The food and entertainment were hard to fault. Village hotel Solihull is one of my favourite places to stay in the Midlands. We’ll be back soon, thank you!

Ella was the only person I could see working at the bar, but she was so polite and gave brilliant service. She really made our day special. We came for Sunday lunch yesterday, which was excellent. I’ll definitely come back!

The meal was fantastic, and the staff were great, especially Laney and Tom. We stopped by the pub for food and a drink while staying at the hotel for work. They kept smiling all evening and gave us outstanding customer service. Thanks for a great night, I’d love to come again.
