James and Angela made the whole stay fantastic. Their kindness and hospitality are hard to put into words, and their love for Scotland and their work came through in everything. Breakfast was delicious each day, with a choice of what we wanted, and it was outstanding every time. We can't say enough good things about this B&B or the wonderful people who run it. We're already thinking about our next trip.

We spent three nights here during our two-week trip around Scotland, and it felt like a little slice of paradise. The grounds are spectacular, with so much history and tradition around you. You can enjoy Edinburgh nearby, then take a country walk right from the estate the next day. It really offers both. This was the most spacious place we stayed, and the hospitality was genuine and above and beyond. James and Angela were the icing on the cake. Outlander fans, just book already!

We felt at home as soon as we arrived, like we were staying with a friend. James was a warm and welcoming host, and Parkhead house was handy for both the airport and Midhope Castle. The room was clean, well kept, and larger than we expected, with everything stocked, including fresh milk and fruit in the fridge. At dusk we could see deer in the field from the living room window. Breakfast was the best we had during our week touring Scotland, and this was our last stop before leaving. James even surprised us at midhope castle the next morning and gave us a private tour, knowing we'd be there. Such a great experience, and I'd highly recommend it if you're staying in the area.

For a B&B, it's marvellous. The room has a lounge, bedroom, ensuite, and kitchenette. Guests upstairs shared the laundry.

The open fields behind Parkhead House, with sheep and deer, made it especially charming, and it was a lovely homelike retreat. We spent two weeks in Scotland and stayed in seven hotels, with Parkhead House among our favourites. James and Angela made us feel like cherished guests. Breakfast was wonderful, our table was beautifully set, and I loved being greeted at the door by James. He has a wonderful connection to Outlander, and I can't imagine a better place to stay if you want to see Lollybroch. Thank you, James and Angela, for being such wonderful hosts.
