Ian was a friendly host, kept everything to a high standard and made us excellent breakfasts on both mornings. The B&B is lovely and ideally placed for exploring Cornwall. Thanks, Ian.

The garden and bungalow were peaceful and beautiful, with lovely personal touches, which we really appreciated as nature lovers. Our room was the Rose Room, a spacious choice with fresh towels and the softest robes. It had everything we needed, plus tea, coffee and a little chocolate in the drawer. There were guides in the room, including Eden's rest information and nearby restaurants. The bathroom is along the hallway, with two showers and a bath, and shower gel, shampoo and body lotion provided. There’s also a guest lounge where you can relax with Sky TV and Cornwall magazines. Everywhere was very clean. Ian was welcoming and helpful, and cooked breakfast each morning on request. He also caters for Coeliacs, with gluten-free bread and cereal. The bread has its own toaster, so there’s no cross-contamination. Luna, the one-year-old Cavalier pup, was adorable! We had a fantastic five days away together. Thanks for a great stay, we’ll look to come back.

Breakfast was freshly made each morning and delicious, and the bed and bedding were extremely comfortable. Our room was beautifully presented, immaculately clean and maintained, with everything we could have wanted. The hosts were warm and welcoming. They’d also thought of some nice extras, including bottled water, biscuits, local maps and guides, and replenished towels. A wonderful traditional B&B and a highly recommended base for exploring central Cornwall.

We had the Orchid Room for six nights. It was very clean and comfortable, with a California King bed and en-suite. Ian was a great host and made a full English breakfast to order each day. We’d definitely stay again.

We spent two nights here in June 2023, when it was hot. The garden has benches, sofas and chairs in different spots, so we could sit in the sun or find some shade. Guests can also use the living room. The B&B is immaculately clean, and there’s free parking off the road. Ian was a perfect host, nothing seemed too much trouble. He welcomed us with a pot of tea and biscuits, had a chat and answered our questions. Our Orchid Room had a huge bed, plus tea, coffee and toiletries. Breakfast was delicious and generous, served in the conservatory.
