The pre-theatre menu had a really good range of options at a very reasonable price. I enjoyed a lovely meal, especially the crispy, delicious mushroom tempura and beautifully seasoned ox cheek ragù. It's handy for the city centre, and there's free parking. They ask for your registration number as you arrive, which helps you remember to register. I'll definitely be back!

The scotch egg was a real standout, with a runny centre, a crisp crust and well-seasoned meat around the egg. The chilli jam alongside it was faultless. We also had chicken goujons to start, and the main courses and service were spot on. The food was fresh and top quality, and the prices seemed reasonable compared with other restaurants. I booked because I wanted to try a Scottish restaurant. From outside, the building looked to me like a wealthy house; inside, it was stunning, clean and cosy, and staff welcomed us and showed us to our table. One thing to know, bring a tracker so your loved ones can find you when you try to get to the toilet.
We walked everywhere from here, including the castle, which was only about 20 minutes away. The breakfast was great, and the haggis was the best we've tasted. Staff were cheerful, polite and very helpful. We booked for two nights and couldn't be happier. I'd stay again and recommend Fletcher’s to anyone heading north.
From beginning to end, it was a great experience. Our meal was fantastic, with nothing to fault, and the staff were friendly with spot-on service. The building looked beautiful inside and out, and the Christmas decorations were lovely. Thank you to everyone at Fletchers.
The halloumi fries were delicious, though a little cold by the time they reached our table. My Chicken Balmoral was good and a decent portion, but there was so much black pepper that I could still taste it all day, and I needed a side to feel full. The food took about 30-40 minutes to arrive, so I was starving. It was my first visit after a friend's recommendation. The place is huge with plenty of seats, and the staff were great, quick and attentive. A good experience, but the food wasn't a favourite, so I wouldn't be rushing back.
