The restaurant was good, and the staff there were brilliant. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy, though they’re looking a little tired. A full makeover is due soon, so that wasn’t a deal breaker. The location was fantastic, with everything we needed close by.

The room had a great view of the hills, and the staff let me store my bags after checkout. They were pleasant enough, though nothing special. The place feels a bit like it’s in the middle of nowhere, even though the location is good. My room was very dated, with chips in the wall, and the bathroom had a strange smell. There were flecks of black mould on the curtain and walls. Still, it was better than most of the Travelodges I’ve stayed in, just definitely not the best Premier Inn.

The hotel and rooms feel a little dated and weren’t as well maintained as other Premier Inns I’ve stayed at. They could do with a refresh and upgrade. The location is ideal, near both the train station and town centre. The staff were all welcoming and friendly, and easily the best part of the stay.

Reception were friendly. There’s no restaurant, but they’d put out a little free something, which was amazing and just right before setting off early. We only stopped for one night, but I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

We were there for five days, and a blouse went missing from our room. When we reported it at reception, they seemed unbelievably indifferent. The toilet seat was broken, and we had to ask repeatedly for soap in the bathroom. I regret not moving to another hotel. I strongly don’t recommend this place.
