We had a brilliant weekend and can’t wait to return. We booked a two-night entertainment break for my husband’s 65th birthday. The room was comfortable and well equipped, and we slept well in the comfy bed. Dinner was outstanding on both nights. Breakfast was a little underwhelming: the food could’ve been warmer, and a bit more choice would’ve been nice, though it was a minor thing. There was an issue with our booking on the tribute night, but it was sorted quickly and we were given a free drink from the bar.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, though definitely very warm. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the hotel gave us a good range of breakfast options. I’d recommend trying the black pudding. There’s a hairdryer in the rooms and an ironing room available. We had a great time at the Rob Roy. It’s about a mile from the village of aborfoyle, with a path you can walk along to get there. We were on a PC coaches coach trip, and it was well situated for reaching places of interest.

We’ll be back. We all love the tribute night, and this wasn’t our first time coming with friends. The hotel staff were lovely, and the waiting staff were amazing and worked so hard. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food was hot and lovely, with a good choice, and breakfast was lovely too. This hotel knows how to keep customers happy. Thanks!

We went on a coach trip and were met with a lovely, friendly welcome. The staff were pleasant, polite and great. Our room was spacious and clean, with a nice view over the fields. The menu was limited, but the choices changed each evening. The food was tasty and nicely presented. A great spot for a peaceful, relaxing break.

The scenery is breathtaking here, right on the edge of the Trossachs National Park, and the setting is fabulous. There’s a large car park, with spaces set aside for the coaches that regularly come and go. It’s a rather special hotel. The rooms are clean, tidy and adequately furnished, and the food is excellent. The staff are very helpful and more than willing to lend a hand.
