Roslyn House

The room is cute, the bed comfortable enough, and the location decent. Just be ready for a steep hike back up after going down into town. The floor creaks a lot and the walls are thin, so you can expect some noise from neighbours moving around. Breakfast wasn't good, almost all prepackaged and full of preservatives. I know they go for a hands-off approach, so I don't hold it against them too much.

The mattress was very comfortable, and the rainfall shower was beautiful. We were impressed by both the room and the service at this lovely, well-decorated, well-appointed little hotel. The breakfast each morning was a great touch, and we really appreciated the little extras left for us. We'll be sure to book again on our next visit to Mull.

If you're physically able to manage the massive hill and aren't too fussy about the included breakfast others have mentioned, I could recommend Roslyn House. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we returned to Tobermory.

We really enjoyed our stay: the decor and little details were lovely, the bed was comfy and cosy, the towels were nice, and the location was great, with nice views and easy access. A few things to know: the walls are thin, and we heard a lot from our neighbour. Breakfast quality wasn't good, and nothing seemed fresh. The croissants, muffins and fruit were supermarket items made for a long shelf life, so I'd avoid them. There also wasn't any surface in the bathroom to put things on, other than the top of the toilet.
