Jim and Inga own a great guest house and couldn't have done more for us. After a gruelling, windy bike ride from Ness, Jim had beers ready when we arrived. The cooked breakfast was amazing. Images are looking from hotel.

The place felt very dated, and I really didn't like the shared bathroom. The host was nice enough, but cleanliness was lacking. A disappointing stay.

The views were nice and the bed was comfortable, but we couldn't wait to leave. The house was very dated and generally unkempt, and breakfast wasn't appetising. The carpeted shared bathroom was horrible. Great location, though.

If you want a simple bed for the night and a good breakfast, go for it. This is a traditional guest house, relaxing to stay in despite not having luxury or expensive style. I had a single room with a shared bathroom and had no trouble with that. The service was great, and I felt at ease without stuffy staff or painted receptionists. If you expect lavish luxury and people tending to every whim, this isn't the place for you.

A really pleasant host and a very nice breakfast made this a good place to catch your breath before exploring. It's set in a bay, close to the ferry terminal but tucked away from the town centre. Really good location.
