The room was super clean, the bathroom was good, and the beds were comfortable. The atmosphere was cosy, too. I came to Stratford for work and chose Moss Cottage because of the good reviews. Bill, in my opinion, is the perfect host, from the friendly email beforehand saying he was looking forward to meeting me, to the warm welcome and fantastic breakfast. If I find my way back to Stratford, I’ll definitely return to Moss Cottage.

Bill was kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and always happy to share useful information and tips about Stratford. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Breakfast was perfect, especially the delicious yoghourt trifle!! A lovely weekend stay, and we’d definitely come back.

Bill gave the four of us a wonderful welcome. He’s friendly, knows the area well, and has a fantastic sense of humour. The rooms were spotless, and breakfast was cooked perfectly. We even took home five jars of jam and marmalade. Thanks from all of us, Bill, and see you again! 😁

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!! Bill was amazing and knew lots about the local area. His personal care and attention made this place stand out from the rest. Thank you, Bill.

Our room was clean, bright and airy, with an ensuite. Breakfast was disappointing, though. The toast, sausages and eggs were burnt because the owner was away and the stand-in, who was nice, was elderly.
