This proper pub gave me that home-from-home feeling as soon as I walked in. The regulars were welcoming too, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The service was great, and honestly, being here restored my faith in humanity. I really appreciate them.

A cosy garden room with a fireplace and easy access to the garden makes this a lovely pub for all sorts of occasions. The food is good quality and well priced, and they can cater for a large group. Service was right on point, and the staff were super friendly.

We had a great Sunday roast, with generous, good-quality food, and the waitress was fantastic and accommodating even while busy with other tables. The main is reasonably priced at £20, but extras such as pigs in blankets, parsnips and cauliflower cheese are £5 each. That brought a meal for two to £55 without drinks or a tip, which felt quite expensive. I’ll still come back.

The pictures on Google are out of date. Inside, this pub is lovely, and the food is fantastic, all fresh and homemade. The warm bread, ham, cheese and onion rings were incredible. We really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere, and the service was attentive. Prices seem reasonable for this quality. It’s a great choice for a family meal or a business dinner, really for any occasion.

A tasty Sunday roast with a good-sized portion, plus a great atmosphere. They’re very welcoming to dogs. Definitely recommend it.
