The gardens really made the stay for me. I’ve never seen grounds so well kept, and the gardener deserves a mention. The outdoor pool was a lovely extra, and breakfast came with exceptional service. Add the beautiful hotel and those wonderful views over Tenby, and this has to be the best place to stay in town. Truly magnificent.

Getting back from the beach can be exhausting here: it’s uphill to the hotel, then there are more stairs to climb. The lift is tiny and only reaches a little beyond the first floor, even though the hotel has three floors. The basement bar means another two flights to get back to ground level. I’d try to book a first-floor room, and the hotel really needs a lift that serves every floor. It would make a big difference to the holiday. The hotel is generally good, and the dining room service was okay, but it’s really only suited to people who are fit and able-bodied.

The staff were great, the food was excellent, and there’s a large car park. It’s a stylish little gem with fabulous views. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely evening meal and a delicious breakfast. The room was stunning, with epic views of Tenby, and the staff were so friendly that nothing seemed like too much trouble.

There’s plenty of choice at breakfast, and the menu has lots of gluten-free options. We’d recommend trying the restaurant for dinner. The only small drawback was the shower’s water pressure, but it didn’t spoil our visit and we’d happily stay again. We were there for two nights, and the hotel was lovely, with beautifully decorated reception, lobby and lounge areas. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, especially Mike and Aga, who were very polite, professional and tireless in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
