Tewkesbury Park Hotel, Golf & Country Club

The food was absolutely delicious, with quality ingredients cooked beautifully for both dinner and breakfast. We spent two nights here for a relaxing break. Our room was clean and very comfortable, and we had full use of the spa. The pool was lovely, and the facilities were clean. Everyone we encountered around the hotel was polite, efficient and professional. The car park is nice and big. Would completely recommend staying here.

The staff made the stay special, every person we met was cheerful and happy to help, even on a day of the year nobody wants to work. Ruby on reception handled our unusual request quickly and with good humour. We stayed over Christmas and had a lovely time. Even in the cheaper room option, it was bright, clean and spacious. The spa facilities were modest but suited us, and the food was very tasty.

Evie arranged everything for our anniversary so thoughtfully. She was warm and attentive, and her personal touch made the occasion feel extra special. The festive afternoon tea and snacks included in our package were delicious and beautifully presented, a real highlight while we enjoyed the views. Tewkesbury Park Hotel has a beautiful, immaculately maintained estate, plenty of indoor activities and relaxing spaces, plus a fantastic wellness centre. Service was excellent throughout, and the food was outstanding. A memorable, unrushed and relaxing stay.

All the staff were friendly and treated my dog like a celebrity. The dog-friendly room had a bed, bowls, a doggy towel and complimentary treats, plus a ground-floor balcony opening onto the grounds. Anyone travelling with a dog knows how handy that is. There's also a separate dog-friendly lounge area beside the bar for eating, and I was seated by a bed and bowl. I stayed here twice last week on the way to and from my trip up north. One thing to check: someone else's dinner was put on my bill. They sorted it quickly, but I might have paid it without checking. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it. I didn't use the pool because I didn't want to leave my dog in the room.
