Fisherman's Cot, Tiverton by Marston's Inns

The room was warm, clean, and comfortable, and the food was good. We had a delightful stay and would happily return. That said, the lodgings are starting to look tired. The bathroom especially had several defects in the bath panel and ceiling, and the outside of the lodges could use renovation.

My room was quirky and had a great view of the bridge. I could pick out a few minor issues, but I had such a fabulous time I won't. I met up with my friends from Operation Raleigh 8a, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Even checking in was fun, and nothing was too much bother. Dinner was superb, and the evening flew by. Breakfast was delicious too, with plenty of everything. I stayed the night and will definitely come back for another visit with Lady Em. Great place and destination, five big stars from me.

We booked at short notice and had a very comfortable stay. The lady on duty when we arrived made up the children's pull out beds and brought fresh bedding. She looked after us just as well at breakfast. Looking forward to staying again.

The setting was lovely, and our room was spacious. Most of all, the lady serving breakfast was outstanding. She was so kind and understanding with our children, going above and beyond. Many thanks to her. We hope to visit again.
