The hosts are what made Torquay memorable for me, especially Anthony’s warm welcome and the way he checked that I was comfortable throughout my stay. Pauline also shared thoughtful travel tips that helped me make better use of my time. I came to Devon hoping to find the original cream tea, without knowing much about Torquay. The sea and sky were beautiful, too. Each morning started with yoghurt made from their own rhubarb and plums, different breads and special dishes. My room was cosy, and the bathroom was modern. Torquay may not be set up for much sightseeing, but I’ll remember this B&B fondly. Many thanks from a South Korean student couple living in London.

We’ve stayed in plenty of places on our weekend breaks over the years, and Court Prior is the best one so far. The suite was lovely, and it’s a beautiful house. Pauline and Anthony made us feel completely comfortable and looked after. Breakfast was great, especially the BLT, which I’d happily recommend. If you need a clean, friendly, luxurious break from work and everyday life, this is a lovely place to stay. Thanks, Pauline and Anthony. We’ll be back!

The breakfast at Court Prior was fantastic, and the place felt like very good value. You can find cheaper B&Bs in Torquay, but I doubt you’ll find a better one. Pauline and Anthony’s hosting was incredible, and they made all their effort look easy. They greeted us as soon as we arrived, and nothing was too much trouble. They’ve created and maintained a beautiful B&B, with a Victorian house restored in real splendour. It was immaculate throughout, and our bedroom was spacious and beautifully decorated. I’d recommend staying at Court Prior if you’re in Torquay.

Pauline and Anthony were welcoming and really friendly. We stayed in the luxury apartment with its own garden, which was perfect for our two Labradors. The location worked well for the things we had planned. Thanks for having us, we had a lovely stay.

The breakfast is the best I’ve ever had, with plenty of choice and locally sourced ingredients. The B&B is in a beautiful part of Torbay, about a 7-10 minute walk from the seafront, and the service is outstanding. Anthony and Pauline were excellent hosts, with great suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing. Their place is second to none. We’ll definitely stay here on future visits. Can’t recommend it enough, 10/10 and nothing could make it better.
