Premier Inn London City - Tower Hill

It would have been useful to have some information at the hotel about nearby places to eat and things to see. A taxi can be ordered there, which came in handy. The hotel is a bit away from most of the main attractions, though Tower of London and Tower Bridge are close by, and the Underground station is about a 10-minute walk. The staff were lovely, polite and helpful.

The location and service were great, and breakfast was good. The rooms felt cramped, though, and the bathroom water pressure was the worst part. There weren’t many drink choices at the bar either. I wish we’d picked a hotel with a higher rating. Also, the floor creaked loudly when you stepped on it before going into the bathroom. I felt bad for whoever was in the room below us. They really should fix it. Hope you don’t get room 318.

We had a lovely, quiet room on the first floor, and the friendly staff looked after us well. Breakfast was really enjoyable and set us up for the day. The hotel is well located, only a five-minute walk from the Tower Bridge underground. If you have time, there are lovely walks by the river, St Katherine docks, Tower Bridge and the castle.

We booked interconnected family rooms six months in advance after Premier Inn told us this hotel could arrange them. When we arrived, we found out they had no interconnected rooms available. After spending 30 minutes investigating our complaint, they just apologised and said they’d pass it on to the relevant people. Absolutely shocking service and customer care. I’ll never stay at a Premier Inn again.
