The room suited us well, and room servicing was only done if we asked reception, which we liked. Ours was a spacious twin/family room on the second floor, with a large double bed and a single bed. We could reach it by lift or stairs, and the bathroom was an adequate size, with a bath and drench shower above. The Premier Inn is close to central wakefield but far enough away to be quieter. Teresa greeted us warmly at reception, was really helpful and gave us lots of information. Right next door is the ‘RhubarbTriangle’ Brewers fayre, where the meals are good quality and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked another before leaving, with the lovely Teresa.

I was here for one night for work. The hotel was very quiet and the bed was comfortable, and the woman at reception was friendly and helpful. The room was clean enough, though the TV was a bit iffy. I wanted to use my laptop in bed, but all the plug sockets were too far away to keep it plugged in.

Teresa at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful, which made a good stay even better. At Premier Inn, my room was clean, the bed was comfortable and everything felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. Highly recommend!

The restaurant opposite had wonderful hospitality and was packed at 6pm on a cold, wet December evening. You’re clearly doing something right. At reception, Leanne gave me a warm welcome and saved the day by lending me a spare phone charger. She politely turned down my offer of a drink as thanks, a consummate professional. Check-in was fast and efficient, and the room was immaculate. Merry Christmas Wakefield North.

Wakefield centre is easy to get to from this fantastic location. Theresa at the desk was so welcoming and friendly, and went out of her way to make sure we had a positive stay.
